Parade to St. Peter's Basilica

As we approached the Vatican we were surprised to find a parade going to St. Peter's Basilica. Sadly it was raining and the people in the parade were getting soaked. Most of these people were in period costumes (some very fancy and elaborate). Despite the rain they marched on and made their way to St. Peter's.
