The two Towers: Garisenda and the Asinelli

These two towers are the symbols of Bologna. The are impressive, but hard to get a good picture of. Bologna once had hundreds of these towers that were built by nobile families. Earthquakes in the region have caused the collapse of many of the towers over the years.
